Advance Marine is a major sponsor and engine supplier for Impatient, the successful Hydroplane Race boat owned and driven by Andrew Petty.

Advance Marine has been a supporter of Andrew’s Race Team for over 8 years, including Andrew’s previous boat, a vintage hydroplane called The Bug.

While Impatient is currently running a highly modified, yet remarkably reliable 253ci Holden V8, (modified to 4.6 litres), work is currently underway on a 5 Litre injected engine.  The new engine which is planned to launch at the Bundy Thunder race meet in November, is a 308 Holden with a DC&O individual throttle body injection setup and a Haltech ECU.
